Tree Decorations

I always take my Christmas decorations down as soon as possible after Boxing Day. Christmas, for me, is about the build up, the actual day passes so quickly and then it is gone.

I was inspired by Liberty London Girl's question as to whether you  like to coordinate your tree decorations or pile them all on. There is nothing coordinated about my decorations, they are an eclectic mix that grows each year. Some are from before I had kids, some are made by the kids and this year I seem to have been drawn to bird decorations.

Great Expectations

Just watched the first episode of this latest version of my favourite Dickens novel. Wow, I was not disappointed. Gillian Anderson was haunting as Miss Haversham, a little concerned that the grown up Pip was more beautiful than Estella but definitely not the end of the world!

2012 is going to be the year I sort my life out, 2011 has been beyond difficult, so onwards and upwards.
